Delicious Apple Pie
Apple pie is one of my favorite vacation desserts. This family recipe has been passed down from generation to generation, each time getting more perfect. The crunchiness of the topping, combined with the sweet, juicy apples, creates perfection in every bite. Be sure to serve it warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Ingredients
- 1 kg Of apples
- 1 mug sugar
- 1 cdta Cinnamon powder
- 300 grams of flour
- 150 grams butter
- 1 egg
- 1⁄2 Cup Of water
- 1 cdta Of salt
- 1⁄2 cdta Lemon (juice)
- 3 cdas of brown sugar

Before starting, it is important to preheat the oven to 180°C to ensure even cooking.
Wash the apples well, peel them and cut them into medium-sized pieces. This will ensure that everything cooks evenly. Add the sugar, cinnamon and lemon juice. Stir well and let marinate while preparing the dough.
For the dough, start by mixing the flour, salt and sugar. Then add the butter, cut into small cubes. Don't forget that the butter must be cold, this will make the dough more crumbly and delicious.
Add the egg and start mixing until a homogeneous dough is formed. If necessary, add water little by little. In my experience, this is sometimes necessary, depending on the size of the egg. It will be better if the dough is not too wet.
Grease a tart pan, roll out the dough and place it inside the pan, making sure that it also covers the sides.
Add the apple mixture and sprinkle with the brown sugar. This will give it an extra touch of sweetness and a crunchy coating that perfectly complements the softness of the apples.
Bake for approximately 45 minutes or until the dough is golden brown and crispy. After baking, it is important to let cool before cutting. Although it may be tempting to taste the pie right away, it is best to give it time to set.
