Crispy Oven Baked Vegan Tofu Nuggets
These crispy and delicious tofu nuggets are an excellent vegan alternative to classic chicken nuggets. They are easy to make, packed with proteins, and are perfect for both kids and adults. They make an excellent appetizer, game-day snack, or lunchbox item.
Ingredients
- 1 Block of firm tofu
- 1 Cup of breadcrumbs
- 1⁄2 Cup flour
- 1 Cup unsweetened almond milk or other plant milk
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- salt and pepper to taste

Directions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Drain the tofu and press gently to remove excess moisture.
Cut the tofu into one-inch cubes or the desired nugget size.
Take three bowls. Put flour in one, milk in the second, and combine breadcrumbs with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in the third.
Dip each tofu cube first in the flour, then milk, and finally roll in the breadcrumbs mixture until well coated.
Place the coated tofu cubes on the prepared baking tray. Ensure they are evenly spaced.
Spray the nuggets with a bit of cooking spray to help them crisp up.
Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and crispy. Flip halfway to ensure even baking.
Once done, remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.
Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy.
