Creamy Parmesan Garlic Butter Sauce for Steak

- 1 Cup heavy cream
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbls butter
- salt to taste
- Ground black pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon maize starch
- 2 tbls fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 tbls parmesan

Directions
Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
Add minced garlic and sauté until it starts to brown.
Mix the cornstarch with a little bit of heavy cream to make a slurry then set aside.
Pour the rest of the heavy cream into the saucepan and heat until it starts to simmer.
Add the cornstarch slurry and stir quickly to incorporate it into the sauce and thicken the sauce.
Season with salt and pepper.
Add the grated parmesan cheese and stir until it melts completely.
Garnish with fresh chopped parsley.
