Classic White Chocolate Vanilla Buttercream Frosting
White Chocolate Buttercream is a luxurious, creamy frosting perfect for cakes, cupcakes, or cookies. Ingredients
- 3 cups of powdered sugar
- 1 Cup of unsalted butter at room temperature
- 200 gms of white chocolate, finely chopped and melted
- 1⁄4 Cup of heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Using a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate in 30-second bursts, stirring well in between until fully melted and smooth. Set aside to cool, but not solidify.
In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter until it becomes creamy and light (about 2-3 minutes on medium speed).
Gradually add in the powdered sugar, one cup at a time, while continuing to beat the butter. Ensure the sugar is well incorporated before adding the next cup.
Slowly pour in the white chocolate while the mixer is on low speed. Allow to mix thoroughly.
Add the vanilla extract and pinch of salt, continuing to mix until well combined.
Lastly, while the mixer is running on low speed, gradually add in the heavy cream until the desired consistency is reached. Once all the cream is added, increase the speed to high and whip for about a minute to create a fluffy texture.
The buttercream frosting is ready to be used immediately, or can be stored in the refrigerator until needed.
