Classic Easy Rhubarb Crumble

Ingredients
- 4 cups fresh rhubarb, sliced into 1-inch pieces
- 1 Cup crystal sugar
- 1 tablespoon maize starch
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 Cup all-purpose flour
- 1⁄2 Cup rolled oats
- 1⁄2 Cup brown sugar
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 Cup unsalted butter, cold and cut

Directions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish and dust with flour.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced rhubarb, granulated sugar, cornstarch, and ground cinnamon. Mix until the rhubarb is evenly coated. Transfer the mixture to the greased baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
In a separate bowl, prepare the topping combining the all-purpose flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, and salt. Mix well.
Add the cold cubed butter to the crumble mixture. Using fingertips or a pastry cutter, gently work the butter into the dry ingredients until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the rhubarb mixture in baking dish.
Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 40 minutes, or until the rhubarb is tender and the crumble topping is golden brown.
Once baked, remove the rhubarb crumble from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
