Christmas Shortbread Cookies
Delicious and buttery Christmas shortbread cookies that melt in your mouth. These quick and easy-to-make cookies are the perfect treat for the festive season.
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 Cup unsalted butter
- 1⁄2 Cup crystal sugar
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt

Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, whip the butter until it becomes smooth and creamy.
Gradually add the granulated sugar to the creamed butter, continuing to whip until it becomes fluffy.
Stir in the salt.
Gradually add the flour to the butter mixture while stirring. The dough should become stiff and begin to hold together.
Roll out the dough until it's about 1 inch thick, and then cut it into your preferred shapes with cookie cutters.
Place the cookies on the prepared baking sheet and bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until the edges begin to turn golden brown.
Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
