Ingredients
- 500 gms of mixed mushrooms cleaned and sliced
- 1 large onion finely chopped
- 4 tbls of unsalted butter
- 2 tbls of all purpose flour
- 2 cups of vegetable broth
- 1 Cup of sour cream
- 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
- salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
- Egg noodles or rice for serving

Directions
Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a large pan over medium heat. Add the onions and garlic, sauté until the onions are translucent and the garlic is fragrant.
Add the sliced mushrooms to the pan and continue to cook for 8-10 minutes or until the mushrooms are browned and tender.
Sprinkle the flour over the mushrooms. Stir until the mushrooms are coated and cook for 1 more minute.
Pour in the vegetable broth slowly, stirring constantly. Allow the mixture to simmer and thicken for about 5-7 minutes.
Reduce the heat to low, then stir in the sour cream, Worcestershire sauce and season with salt and pepper. Cook for another 5 minutes.
Serve the mushroom stroganoff over cooked egg noodles or rice, garnish with fresh chopped parsley.
