Beetroot brownies without flour
I came across this healthy cake when I was looking for a way to effectively use up the leftover beets I had in the fridge. I substituted almond flour for the flour and the resulting flavor is phenomenal.
Ingredients
- 250 g Cooked beetroot
- 100 g dark chocolate
- 70 g almond flour
- 2 a piece Eggs
- 50 g honey or maple syrup
- 3 kl cocoa
- pinch of sea salt

Directions
First, preheat the oven to 180°C. Puree the cooked beetroot, I used a hand blender.
Then prepare the chocolate. Melt it in a water bath and let it cool slightly.
In the next step, mix all the dry ingredients, i.e. almond flour, cocoa.
Beat the eggs with the honey or syrup until frothy. Add the beetroot and then the chocolate mixture.
Finally, stir in the dry ingredients. Whisk just until the ingredients are combined.
Pour the finished dough into the greased tin and bake in the oven for 25 minutes.
