Apple strudel
Apple leaf strudel is a popular Czech dessert made of puff pastry and filled with sour apples. Sugar, cinnamon and raisins are also added. This dessert is great with tea or coffee.
Ingredients
- 500 g puff pastry
- 1 kg Sour apples
- 150 g sugar
- 1 Spoon cinnamon
- 1 eggs For rubbing
- 100 g Raisins
- A little flour for rolling out
- powdered sugar for sprinkling

Peel the apples, cut them out and cut them into small pieces. Add the sugar, cinnamon and raisins and mix well.
Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface into a thin sheet.
Spread the prepared filling over the dough, leaving about 1 cm free.
Brush the dough with beaten egg and roll it up carefully.
Brush the strudel once more with the egg, then put it in a preheated oven and bake at 180 degrees for about 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
After the strudel has cooled, sprinkle with icing sugar.
