Recipe for a good apple pie that tastes best from homemade apples.

1. Step

In a bowl, mix together the flour, icing sugar, eggs, butter and a pinch of salt. Make the dough and let it rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. When making this dough, I recommend using room temperature butter to help it combine better with the other ingredients.

2. Step

Then grate the apples and mix them with cinnamon, instead of the classic apple pieces I prefer grated apples, it makes the drink tastier and juicier.

3. Step

Roll out the dough and place it on the bottom and edges of the greased baking tin. Place the prepared apples on top and sprinkle with the rest of the dough.

4. Step

Bake the apple pitas in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 30 minutes.
