The first step in cooking lamb chops is to prepare the meat. If you refrigerated your lamb chops, take them out and let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking. This will help the meat cook more evenly. If your lamb chops have a thick layer of fat, trim it down to about 1/4 inch to prevent flare-ups while cooking.

Step 2: Marinating the Lamb Chops

Grab your favourite herbs from the cupboard. Marinate the lamb chops in a mixture of your choice of herbs, spices, and liquids, such as olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, rosemary, and thyme.
